What Has Worked for You? Sharing Best Practices in LEED Submissions
The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) will hold a Technical Discussion Forum to complement their LEED Certification Work Zone at Greenbuild. This interactive session will cover a range of topics, from tricky credit issues to methods for improving the review process, and includes brief presentations by GBCI staff and successful project team members, including 7group partner Marcus Sheffer, followed by an open discussion of questions and experiences in LEED submissions best practices between participants and presenters.
This Technical Discussion Forum will be held Wednesday, November 14th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the back of the Certification Work Zone held in Room 104 of the South Building, and will be led by Christopher Davis, Marcus Sheffer and Anica Landreneau. K13: LEEDuser: Tips and Tricks from the Field
A team of guest experts from LEEDuser’s popular user forums will host a one hour education session on achieving and documenting LEED prerequisites and credits. Discussing recent insights and innovations, the expert panel will take questions in a live user forum format. With a focus on energy and indoor environmental quality, the session will cover several rating systems including LEED for New Construction and LEED for Existing Buildings. Tristan Roberts, Editorial Director at BuildingGreen, Jenny Carney, a YR&G principal, and Marcus Sheffer, a 7group partner will host this educational session.
